Sunny Saturday

It is really really nice today. 50 degrees-ish and sunshine! I opened up the front door again just to let some fresh air in.

But I have a secret. A dark secret. To make my house look nice, I tend to throw things in closets. To the point where you may be buried if you open the door. I was thinking that potential buyers of my home would not appreciate that. So I fixed it in the office. Here is the before picture:

This is a mish mash of my craft stuff, my books, actual office supplies and the hubby's architecture school supplies. Something had to be done.

So here is what happened:

Not perfect, but much better!

Here is the lowdown:

• All the books came off of the floor and went on the top shelf
• I bought four stacking cubes from Target and filled them (neatly) with office and craft supplies
• I took a plastic drawer and filled it with the hubby's school supplies
• I turned a box inside out and it is now used to hold rolled paper for architecture class
• The whole right side of the closet is now the hubby's and all he has to do is keep things in the drawer and box!
