Shopping Sunday

I needed new interview clothes as all my old ones were too big from three years ago. So I went shopping. I found some nice things. More importantly I found a possible job opportunity!

While browsing the clearance rack at JcPenny, a man says to me "Excuse me - do you work at St. Mary's hospital?" I looked at him and he did look familiar so I said "No, I worked at Granite Construction." He then told me who he was, and it turns out he works for the state environmental agency. We had worked together last summer on one of Granite big projects that needed air permits. He had since moved to a different area of the agency and told me that a position would be opening soon in his department! He said to send him my resume tomorrow.

Now really, who says shopping doesn't pay off?

On another note, yesterday was the baby shower for my sis in-law. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pics of the actual shower, but here are a couple of gifts I gave her:

And this one sat on my lap for awhile - she is so cute and never fussed once!

Her name is Abigail and she is my sis in-law's niece. Also, she is sitting next to my nephew in this picture. Or maybe ON my nephew.
