Near my office, there is a mental hospital that has been there since 1882. Does this bring up creepy images for anyone? The hospital took up much of the block at one point in it's history, but most of it has been replaced with businesses and roads now. Anyway, a competing construction company has been doing road work next to the hospital. Guess what they discovered? A skull and some bones. Ew. Standard procedure for my company is to stop digging and call an archaeologist to the site. This company decided to put the bones in a plastic bag and continue digging! They left the bones at the jobsite, and during the weekend, some people passing through saw them and reported them. Now they are in the newspaper. Bad, bad, bad.
Apparently the whole area is known to be scattered with unmarked graves from the mental hospital. I've seen enough movies to know not to ever go in that place! Please please, no matter how crazy I get, don't send me there!
The hubby wanted cookies today so I made his Granny's secret recipe for chocolate peanut butter cookies:
Yep, the recipe is on the back of the bag.
Yummy!
By the way, a mackabroin is an old hag.
Hope you had a great day!
Much Love,
That is crazy! Who would even think that it is ok to put someone's remains in a plastic bag? Good thing this place is by your work and not your house.
ReplyDeleteAnd those cookies look delish! What a good wifey you are.
My husband saw the pictures and insisted on Reese's cookies. They are in the oven right now.
