Trying Tuesday

I spent a lot of my day in the field today. It was HOT. I was walking the river where we are doing a diversion next week, sweat dripping off my head (hard hats do not ventilate well, fyi) and all of the sudden, I see something slither in front of me. Yep, I saw a snake. A La Indiana Jones, "I hate snakes!" Was not expecting that. Did all I could to not scream. Held it together in front of the guys. Luckily, I will not be hanging out by the river alone. Ever. Because I don't want to now.

Other than that excitement, I came home to wonderful dinner - beer can chicken. Sorry no pictures today, I was slacking.

Ah yes, I will be vegging in front of the TV for the rest of the evening trying to forget about the snake. What show does one watch in order to forget about snakes? Teen Mom of course. The drama is amazing, the kids are so dumb, and irresponsibility flies everywhere. It's quite fantastic. Why is everyone so shocked that none of the dads stick around? Love it.
